Charity Donations

Over the years Highbury Players has donated money from ticket, Programme and Tea and coffee sales to charity. Often these charities have a place in the hearts of one of our member and we are proud to be able to support them. Do you know of a charity that might benefit from such a donation? Stop Domestic Abuse supports and protects victims and survivors of domestic abuse. We provide a range of flexible and accessible services across Hampshire to anyone affected by domestic abuse, including perpetrators. We work in partnership with other service providers, commissioners, the police, schools and our local community to tackle domestic abuse and stalking throughout Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton.

We run 18 refuges across Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton which are available to women with or without children. We also run a perpetrator programme for people who use abusive and/or unhealthy behaviours and accept responsibility for their actions and want to change.

If you live in Hampshire, Portsmouth or Southampton and are experiencing domestic abuse, you can call the Domestic Abuse Advice Line on 0330 0533 630 or email advice@stopdomesticabuse.uk for confidential advice and support.

Further extending the services by offering tea time meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. in 2023 MUNCH provided 9778 meals to the community.
